Hi. I am Daniel Chung, a New Korean Translator.

Translating is a tedious job, but it’s exciting because I can be a language ambassador between the two cultures that are represented by the languages that I am translating. My goal for Korean translation is making it real professional. I keep polishing the translation until they look natural. My bi-lingual and bi-cultural experience in both Korea and America helps my job a lot.

I receive up to 30 customer services-related calls and e-mails a day. It is because Korean market is growing so rapidly. Sometimes I spend the whole day in answering those questions. My goal for this job is promptness. On my part it’s the same day service and to some Korean people it would be an overnight service due to the time difference. They really appreciate it and I feel rewarded. My detail-oriented personality is an asset to this job.

My family is supportive to my work at En101. My wife teaches piano at a local university and my two children are middle school students of a private school. I have experiences in Christian ministry and K-12 education and am currently a doctoral student in Ed.D program at a local university. I enjoy working at En101 and time flies very fast every day.
