Enhancements? I Think So!

Introducing your ALL NEW En101 Companion...

Well, we like to think of it that way!

We have created an all new interactive dynamic interface for our lessons that will take learning with En101 to a whole new level.

Loop a whole lesson, loop single words and sentences, pause loops and sounds and more.

This all new addition to our lessons will add style and fun to your learning experience.

We have already put this to work in our Korean lessons, and are now implementing it into our English lessons. So be on the lookout for NEW NEW NEW!!!

美国已经改成夏时制了
从本月起美国改用夏时制了,时钟向前拨了1小时,或者说公司这里是星期三早上9点的话,中国(台湾等地)就是星期三晚上10点,希望大家注意。
No Mistakes
Just over 3 years ago, I was sitting in a small house on some property outside of Norman, Oklahoma.

It was a beautiful place.

You couldn't even see another house because of all of the trees.

I was working on this project... Let's call it Project101.

I hadn't even told one person about this project.

Aside from my immediate family and one programmer, nobody in the world knew about Project101.

Then, Feburuary 14th, 2005, the Project launched.

I thought to myself, "I have to be careful and not make any mistakes!"

Fast Forward one year...

The Project had started with 2 packages, and things were going well, however, by this time I felt Project101 needed something.

I thought to myself, "I have to be careful and not make any mistakes!"

Then one day, out of the blue, a brainstorm "Let's add a new package!"

Fast Forward six months...

Hence, the ProPak was born!

Project101 really started moving then.

I thought to myself, "I have to be careful and not make any mistakes!"

Then, after careful analysis, I reasoned that we needed to add some levels of achievement.

I thought to myself, "I have to be careful and not make any mistakes!"

Appropriately, Project101 added the Director, Executive Director (ED) and  Chief Executive Director (CED) positions.

Oops... small mistake... or shall we say, a slight miscalculation.

Thinking there would be MAYBE 20-30 Executive Directors in the first year... and maybe 10 or so CED's.

Hmmm, let's see, how about more like 1,200 and 75 respectively.

I thought to myself, "I have to be MORE careful and not make any mistakes!"

Fast Forward 18 months...

Ok, it's time for a convention!

I thought to myself, "I have to be careful and not make any mistakes!"

Thinking...

Planning...

Location...

Announcement...

Oops...

I am by no way trying to make light of the situation of postponing of the convention.

Once we announced it, we quickly found out it was just "the wrong place at the wrong time".

We are now re-thinking...

Re-planning...

Re-locating...

And will soon be re-announcing the alternative plan.

Please accept my sincere apology.

I try to always be careful and not make any mistakes.

My only desire is that we have the best of everything for the En101 members, and I will do my best to see to it that whatever is decided for the future is the best.

Stay tuned for updated information.

Best Regards,

Richard McCullough

Ko-nee-chee-wah!

All I can say about the previous 3 meetings in Japan is:

素敵 !!!

I would like to say thank-you to Mr. Y. D. Kim, Mrs. Joo Yeon Im (pictured above) and their team for making the arrangements.

We started off in Tokyo.

The room was packed with a great group of serious, smiling faces... all taking notes.

I told the story about back in early 2000 when I had traveled to Japan a number of times.

Most of the people I met didn't speak English, and as I was introduced to them, I had noticed that they could all say one thing in English... that one thing was "I'm sorry, I don't speak English."

(I should have been apologizing to them since I was in their country but found it odd they were all apologizing to me).

Anyway, one night I was invited to go out for Karaoke.

It came time for a gentleman who was sitting next to me to get up and sing.

He sang Elvis Presley's "Love me Tender" song.

He sang it perfectly.  Every word was sang as if he himself had written the song.

After he finished, he came back and sat down beside me, and I looked at him and said "I didn't know you speak English".

He looked at me and said "I'm sorry, I don't speak English."

Next, we headed to Osaka where I again was honored to speak in front of a packed crowd.

I showed them my one and only magic trick of how to make money disappear (you'll have to ask one of them how it works :-)

Lastly, but most certainly not least, we went to Fukuoka.

A very beautiful city located on the southern "island" of Japan.

Again, I met so many sincere and excited people.

It was a great experience... I spoke, and Mr. James Soh (bottom, center of picture above) translated for me - from English to Korean... and
Mrs. Joo Yeon Im translated from Korean to Japanese (a 3-way translation).  It showed how truly "global" En101 is!

I want to say thank you to everyone who attended the meetings.  It was a pleasure to meet each and every one of you!

I can't wait to go back (which I plan to before the end of April.)

As I predicted back on January 12th of this year, Japan has begun!

Best regards,

Richard McCullough
